Position

As a Consultant you will be working for large, international companies. In the design stage, you will assess the customer’s need for information and their KPIs. In the building stage, you will support the technical realization of the information systems and during the implementation stage, you develop dashboards and train customers on how to use them effectively. You will be supported (both on the job and in a specific training program) by more experienced ScanmarQED Consultants and will work closely together in various project teams.

There is a lot of attention given to developing technical skills, however you will also be trained on project management, client communication and business development. Quality and service are core values for ScanmarQED.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Masters degree (IT-related education)
  • Some knowledge of the technical realization of business information systems
  • Affinity with Sales &Operations Planning or marketing (research) and the most commonly used sources (Nielsen, IRI, GfK) is a preference
  • Some software development experience (the software language is less important)
  • Knowledge of relevant database software and tools like Oracle, OWB, OBIEE, OLAP
  • You are customer oriented, think in solutions and have good communication skills
  • You are perceived as an enthusiastic self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You are not a ‘hard core IT-specialist’, but more of an all-rounder with modern day business acumen

The analytics consultant & trainer will be part of our Managed Services group that helps clients to:

  • Understand their marketing data
  • Build econometric models that explain and quantify key business drivers
  • Create data driven growth strategies based on these models
  • Manage ongoing Ad-Hoc business questions via an on-demand analytics platform

Unlike traditional consulting firms, our Software eliminates the need to write code and enables our consultants to focus on business questions.

Requirements

ExperiencedYou will have at least a Bachelor’s but preferably a Master’s Degree in a field such as Mathematics, Econometrics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science.

Strong trainer Experience in delivering training sessions in classroom settings, virtual classroom settings and via web-conferencing tools.

Go-getter You are willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic, self-directed and resourceful.

Technical It is essential that you will be familiar with statistical techniques such as regression analysis and more advanced statistical disciplines. You will have an in-depth understanding of the technical challenges facing the modern marketing organization and business focus is essential. Note that you will be expected to understand and explain some statistical techniques during the training cycle and comfort with explaining the numbers is essential.

Effective communicator you are clear and persuasive in verbal and written communications with highly effective use of email and the telephone. Your written and spoken English will be of a high standard.

Comfortable working both independently and in groups as the US team is relatively small, a significant amount of your work will be independent.

Commercially aware you will be happy to have commercial discussions with clients and are confident in your ability to develop longer term business relationships that are mutually beneficial to both parties.

The Position

As a Consultant you will work for large, international companies. In the design stage you will assess the customers need for information and their KPI’s. The Profile

You’re customer-oriented and solutions-focused with strong communication skills. A digital native, you’re very comfortable working with technology and learning new software doesn’t phase you. You tend to describe yourself as a jack-of-all trades and rather than being a hard-core specialist, you’re a generalist with BI skills and familiarity with digital data. Enthusiastic, you’re a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, mathematics, engineering, artificial intelligence, statistics, economics or physics.
  • Alternatively, you have the equivalent experience and are prepared to demonstrate solid technological and analytical skills.
  • Client-facing experience in presenting analytical results or fielding questions on quantitative reports.
  • Report or dashboard design (tableau, Cliq, etc.)
  • Experience with scoping out project requirements
  • A working knowledge of social media, search and online advertising platforms (e.g. Google Adwords, Radian6, Google Analytics)

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree
  • Familiarity with marketing research data and commonly used sources (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, GfK)
  • Knowledge of the technical realization of business information systems
  • Some software development experience (we’re language agnostic)
  • Database software and tools knowledge (e.g. SQL, mySQL, Oracle, OWB, OBIEE, OLAP)

Junior Consultant - Marketing Analytics

Location: ScanmarQED United Kingdom, London, UK

ScanmarQED are seeking to employ a Junior Consultant to join our Client Services team in London, UK. We are seeking an articulate and technical individual to develop and deliver comprehensive and effective support to our customers

Main Responsibilities

  • Help with solution design for customers. This includes helping to identify the best way for them to build or outsource their analytical mix capabilities.
  • Support in implementation and “proof-of-concept” exercises to ensure success for our new customers
  • Support analytical projects where clients choose to outsource analytics to us
  • Help customers become competent, confident and frequent users of our software solutions where they take our solutions in-house;
  • Deliver exceptional, on-site training sessions, including classroom instruction, one-on-one coaching, product demonstrations and workshops;
  • Develop customer training schedules and coordinate all associated logistics, including set-up of facility, communications with attendees and more;
  • Work closely with both the customers and MarketingQED Software’s Sales Team to ensure feedback is given for future product development

Skills Description
