As the Director of Revenue Management Platforms, you’ll be part of the Management Team. You lead the Revenue Management and Price & Promo Analytics practice and work with leading companies in CPG/FMCG and Retail.

We are searching for an experienced senior expert in the field of revenue management, and price- and promo analytics. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mentality, excellent social, motivational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can convince clients and negotiate win/win agreements while also overseeing the delivery of projects and implementations. You have an affinity with business intelligence and database technology.

Objectives of this Role

You lead the RGM Business Unit and are responsible for delivering the annual revenue budgets and new business targets in the RGM domain. The main must-win battles are client retention, client expansion, new client acquisition, and roll out of the RGM product strategy. You manage and lead a team of business developers/account owners, and -via the operations manager- a team of data engineers and support consultants.

Skills and Qualifications

You currently work for or in an FMCG company and understand the sales and planning functions, and the retail market. You currently lead a (small) team in this field. You advise clients or internal business units and generate business insights with your team. You understand P&L structures, long- and short-term trade terms and promotional trade spend. You have implemented BI-, TPM- and/or S&OP tools. You work with exfact data, POS, retail scanning, shopper, survey data, field sales, location, and social media data. You master demand planning and forecasting techniques and understand the logic behind promotional effectiveness analysis and pricing analysis.

Experience level:

  • University Master’s Degree
  • 4-5 years of analysis and project implementation experience
  • 2-3 years of senior client advisory and sales experience
