Data Services Specialist

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Data services specialist to join our Dutch team to help us serve and grow a range of accounts in different industries. You will focus on client services and support as well as data management. Your responsibilities will include execution of SLAs, maintenance of client systems, implementation of new systems and keeping clients satisfied. As data is at the core of our products, you will need to have knowledge of and experience in working with and processing data.

What you'll do

  • Loading and processing of client data, using ETL technology and more manual procedures
  • Pro-actively check automated jobs and services that are running on client systems to prevent clients from alarming us of things which are not working (daily)
  • Be responsible for the classification of data and dealing with changes in data files
  • Create databases in a development environment
  • Do checks after processing of data and report strange trends
  • After validation of data, migrate it to the live environment and deliver it to the client
  • Communicate with clients regarding data (timing of delivery, discussing changes, discussing outliers)
  • Communicate with third-party data vendors in case of data anomalies or missed deliveries
  • First point of contact for clients when they have questions with regards to the data they see
  • Where possible, identify steps in the process which can be automated and come up with a plan to automate
  • Give training and support usage to the client
  • Perform regular health and performance checks for delivered solutions
  • Preparing and partaking in quarterly reviews and SLA reviews at his clients

Skills and Qualifications

  • MBO or HBO degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Excel
  • Affinity and previous experience with data
  • Be proactive, organized and have an eye for detail
  • Be able to work independently and take responsibility
  • Good communication skills
  • Good command of the English language, the Dutch language is a plus
