Product Owner

We are looking for a skilled, energetic Product Owner to join our team and work with us on developing our brand new marketing solutions platform. You will play an important role in the development of the new ScanmarQED cloud-based data and analytics platform, leveraging all the latest tech. You will work along our tech teams based in the Netherlands and UK and be a linking pin between tech, business and product management.

You will be based in Houten. You love working in a dynamic environment, have knowledge of the latest technologies and are able to translate business requirements to user stories and epics for our tech teams. You have good communication skills, both verbal and written in English.

What will you be doing:

You will work as a dedicated Product Owner working alongside a team of around 20 software and data engineers and you will be responsible for:

• Working alongside ScanmarQED’s Scrum Master to ensure effective use of the Agile process.
• Defining and prioritizing the user stories and epics that bring the highest business value.
• Liaising with other departments, product managers, customers, and subject matter experts for communication and validation of deliveries.
• Providing regular updates to top management on the overall status of the project.
• Being accountable for the value delivered in a software release.
• Liaising with the QA Team to validate and sign-off release candidates.
• Promoting the automation of QA testing and validation.
• Attending Scrum Events of planning and review in a prepared way to answer the questions of the development team and provide feedback for the presented functionalities

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following:

• 3+ years (s) experience as Product Owner
• Excellent communication & motivation skills
• Proven ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Experience of any of the following that would be beneficial:

• Certified Product Owner
• Experience in marketing and/or b2b industry
• Maths / Stats / Development background
• Knowledge of Angular, .Net, Jira, Continuous Integration, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud, Data warehousing and/or big data
• Experience of working within a QA automation environment
